About

Two specialists, one conversation

Most people don’t need one product. They need someone to look at health coverage, protection and retirement income together, and tell them which of the three actually needs attention first. That’s why Daisy Benefits works this way.

Catherine Perkins, founder of Daisy Benefits

Catherine Perkins

Founder · Licensed Insurance Agent in NH, ME, MA and FL

Choosing insurance is genuinely complicated, and most people are handed a brochure and left to figure it out. Catherine founded Daisy Benefits to do the opposite: sit down with one household at a time, learn what they actually need, and shop the market on their behalf.

That means Medicare for people turning 65 and for people whose plan just changed under them, and health coverage for families and small employers.

Amanda Alksnitis

Strategic Partner · Founder, Alder Tree Financial

Amanda became an independent financial advisor in 2016 after eight years in banking, and is licensed across ten states. Her focus at Daisy Benefits is the long-horizon side of the practice: annuities, life insurance and long-term care.

She also leads the federal employee work. Through the MyFedNav education program she helps federal employees understand FERS and CSRS pensions, TSP, FEHB alongside Medicare, FEGLI and the federal long-term care program — the decisions that are hardest to reverse once made.

How the two of us divide the work

Catherine handles everything that renews annually — health coverage, Medicare, dental and vision. Amanda handles everything with a twenty-year horizon — income, protection and federal retirement.

Most clients start with one and never need the other. Some need both, and when that happens you aren’t handed off to a stranger.
